Avocados?

I just have to say that fresh guacamole is much to easy not to make!!  (I think the store versions are soooo not worth it!)  I make a version of guacamole (although not entirely authentic - it's a shortcut)... I use fresh Hass avocado, any good salsa, and a squirt of lime or lemon.  I ma**** all up with a potato masher - and that's it!  It's really good and well worth the small effort.  I make other types - but that is my effortless version!  :-) But I have no idea who it was that posted eating this in their puree stage.  Good idea though!

I actually craved avocado and never had trouble keeping it down, either alone or in guacamole.  Trader Joe's had avocados with half the fat of regular ones.  I tried them and found them pretty good but twice as expensive as a Haas.  I hope you have one of their stores to visit.  Bean chips, soy chips, corn tortilla chips with 6 grams of protein per serving (and flax seeds in them), lotsa good stuff there.

Thanks for that easy Guac recipe!!  I appreciate it, and I love the idea of putting it all in a bag, then the girls can squi**** up for us which they will love.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.  Herm Albright

I eat em.  Had no problems.  I made lowfat hamburgers and put some guacamole on top to keep things moist.  I ate it straight on the pureed stage.  No problems with it whatsover.  It is chock full of the good fats so it seems to work well.

I've eaten them a couple of times. Once plain with salt, and twice in guacamole. It was fine for me. My boyfriend owns 1000+ acres of avacados so it would have been awful if they made me sick - they are my fav! Buy Hass Avacados, they are much tastier than the Bacon. Also, I think the Bacon are greasier....

I can tolerate avocados just fine.  Just remember enjoy them in moderation because of the fat.
