Sausage did this to me. Too much fat, and it was my way of dumping.

Oh yeah, I do that too. More protein and less carbs...and more tiny snacks. When I feel a bout coming on I eat a cheese stick...That generally helps.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Wow there's at least 3 different possible reasons in this thread, I wonder what the doc will say lol

Jessica, similar things have happened to me a few times since surgery. It happens from time-to-time when I get up too fast but twice it happened while I was just standing around talking. I spoke to my doctor about it and she took my pulse standing and sitting and noted that it was much slower when I was standing...which could be to blame for these fainting spells. In my case, it was happening because I was dehydrated.

It's not an everyday thing, not even a every week thing.... Sometimes, it just happens, but mostly when I am going from sitting to standing and walking. I'm thinking I am drinking enough water, but maybe I should drink throughout the evening? Thanks for replying and letting me know that I am not alone in experiencing this.

Jessica- Google-- POSTURAL HYPOTENSION  and see if that describes what you are experiencing.  That's when your BP drops from sudden changes in position.  Maggie

Hope you get some resolution to this soon.  So glad I could help. But hopefully your doc should be able to really tell what's going on. I'm just a pediatric nurse!  Hope you feel better and this stops happening. No fun to live like that I am sure. Let us know what he thinks! Maggie
