OT-A Prophetic Warning from Pastor Steve Foss Sat, 25 Oct 2008
What a crock.
How about this? Let me think of a number, then you guess, and I'll tell you if you got it right. That's at least as reliable as this fool telling people what he thought of years ago actually came to pass, AFTER THE FACT.
And this idiot has a direct line to the (fictitous) almighty? Oh puh-leeze. Even the stupidest, least educated and most gullible trailer dwellers/red staters can't possibly believe this crap.

Diana,
I normally respect your posts, regardless of our differences, but what's with the trailer dweller comment?
Let me explain this S L O W L Y for you. Apparently, giving you time to mull it over, and other people pointing out the obvious to you in other posts, still hasn't allowed it to sink in. Yeesh.
I was pointing out (using hyperbole, which most people recognized) that even those stereotypic targets of this screed (poor, Christian, fundy, uneducated, disaffected) would be UNLIKELY to be swayed by this garbage, because even the most mentally feeble and uneducated are smarter than that.
Trust me, I don't include you in that group.

No need to explain anything S L O W L Y for me, thanks.
I fully understood that you were using stereotypes. It had nothing to do with the religious or political aspect of the post. It simply came across as very elitist and classist.
Maybe it has to do with my Appalachian roots and the fact that I have many friends and family who lived (or still live) in trailers. I do not consider them part of any screed. They are who they are. Poor? Yes. Uneducated or disaffected? Not in the least.
Come visit the South sometimes and let's see how quickly you get run out of town with these ideals. Just sayin.

Where the preamble declares, that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed by inserting "Jesus Christ," so that it would read "A departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion;" the insertion was rejected by the great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mohammedan, the Hindoo and Infidel of every denomination.
