Do you have a Trader Joe's near you? I hope you do, or if you plan a shopping trip soon, look for this:

Crustless Chorizo, Egg & Cheese Quiche
$2.99 for 2 of them, in the frozen section.

Per quiche (I could only eat half though):

Calories: 190
Cholesterol: 45 g
Fat: 4.5 g
Carb: 6.0 g
Protein: 15 g

And you know what? YUUUUMMM!

Cheers,
Jas

Hi Jasmine,
I will be going to a Trader Joe's either Monday or Tuesday.. First timer there. What should I look for?? I have not had surgery yet. I think it will take me at least 6 months or more to get a date.. My Surgeon is very busy and I did not even see him yet.. I had to start over with a new surgeon because I am high risk... After going through so many steps. To find out I have to start over again with Dr. Kelly. Like I never ever started the program...I am bummed out...Thank you for any help... Alizka

Hi there Alizka -- that wouldbe tough starting all over again dear . Since you mention that you are high risk, that may be a good thing though. Good thing time seems to go by so quickly, I hope it does for you.

TJs -- so much good stuff there for us. Here are a few of my musts/faves:

TJ Greek Nonfat Yogurt (love pomegranate flavor)
Soy crisps
worldwide protein drink
lite cheddar cheese sticks
mini apple cranberry bran muffins
kashi go-lean high protein cereal
organic baby spinach
almonds in single-serving size packets
organic free-range chicken broth
mirepoix (the basis for my fave chicken soup)
"just the leaves" romaine lettuce for wraps

Others have their faves too, maybe they'll add to the list!

Hugs,
Jasmine

You hit most of mine. I would also include:

Strawberry Kefir (only if you don't dump)
Lite Havarti cheese
Lite Muenster cheese
Stevia powder--I like the one with individual packets the best
Whole Wheat Lavosh bread--great for ultra-thin crust pizzas

Wow, great stats.  I love chorizo.  Looks like a trip to TJ's is going to happen this week.
