Cymbalta - do they work as well when we open the capsule and swallow?

Thanks, Steve, I hope my hips don't need replacing yet.  I just read your profile and my hips hurt bad when I walk, especially my left one.  Ouch.  Sounds like you came through okay if I have to have it done I won't be afraid.  I'll start taking the Cymbalta capsule in tact tomorrow. 

I take it too for fibromyalgia. My surgeon told me to keep taking it for at least a year after surgery. She think all of her patients should be on some antidepressant. They've both told me to just take them whole, right after surgery too.So I guess it won't hurt us. Maybe you need to increase the dosage though.
