I will never be average.   Which is not a bad thing as I love my difference.  I am 6'2 and weigh 242 and have a BMI of about 31.  Not bad for being 7 months out and started with a BMI of 53.

I'm 5' 2-1/2 inches and 108. BMI is 19.1. I'm not sure what average is. Just trying to stay at my doctor's goal of 110.

I'm 5 ft 5 inches tall and weigh (this morning) 127 pounds. I'm right smack in the middle of NORMAL.

http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm

I took a look at a chart last week regarding body fat. The average woman in America has about 32% body fat, I have 22%. Good range is 19-25. The recommended BMI for women my age is 19-25. Mine is 21.1. Right smack in the middle of normal again.

According to Metropolitan Life, they say ideal wieght for me is 130-144. I'm less than ideal in their view.

According to the Robinson Formula for use in medicatioin dosages I'm exactly where I should be.

So my theory stands true. Normal is a setting on the dryer and nothing more. LOL
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
