Best Protein Drink for Best Price?
I use Body Fortress Whey. I get it at Wal-Mart for like $18 for a BIG tub. There are a million things you can do with it, both in shake form and in other cooking, so it's versatile.
I also like the Atkins Advantage shakes. I am not too fond of Unjury. I want to be but I'm not. The smell is ghastly.

I'm like you about the price.
My doc insists on 100% whey protein. He suggests many brands, but I found Body Fortress at Walmart for about $14.00 for a 2 week supply.
Daily I make 1 pint (2 eight ounce servings, 1 scoop per serving) of the stuff for my pre-op diet. It has 52 grams of protein and is low in carbs. There is no soy and the whey is mostly whey protein isolate which I have read is less likely to trigger reactions for those with dairy allergies/ intolerance.
Vanilla is pretty bland but I mix it with my soy milk (no real dairy for me). I'm sure in a smoothie it will be a lot better. It dissolves pretty easily without a blender. I shake it in a water bottle. I no longer bother with the shaker that sells for around $3.00.
Next week I want to try something tastier. I'll post if I find anything good no one else has mentioned.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I love the unjury....$19 and you get 17 scoops...just over a buck a serving. I love the taste...( i know that is so relative ) I couldnt get anything else down....EAS, Boost , glucerna, atkins. I read that so many people love those products.
But...the $1.10 per serving is a lot less then I was spending on food before...lol...20g protein to boot
