Your symptoms are symptoms of MANY medical conditions some where are easily treated and others that are potentially fatal.

Don't wait to address this with your surgeon.  They are available 24/7/365.

Call someone to discuss your health NOW.

I hope you are all well soon!

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side.  The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Yes, call your physician, this sounds neurological.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Im not downplaying whats going on, but I dealt with this for my first 4 months post surgery.  I no longer deal with it.  The doctor said everything was re-arranging and this was not uncommon.  It did pass...but I would recommend seeing a doctor this week.

Crystal I was told the same thing before I was inactive and then I started being active so things started flowing and needed time to get use to me moving.

Yep, Id say the increase in physical activity helped, and just doing more around my house.  She is 1 month out...it may be safe to say she is dealing with the same thing.  At one month out I didnt feel like moving at all, and lost 34 pds that month...my body was spent between surgery and the weight loss.

There is a gal on here who had it go on for about a year and then it passed.  Her doc told her the same thing.  I posted about this problem at about 1.5 mo out.  Sure enough its gone.

First thing you must do is start taking Thiamine (B1) supplements.  Follow up with yourdoc early next week.  Google thiamine deficiency (wernecke syndrome).

Good Health,

YES!. I am at Mayo Clinic as I write. Exact same response, only the situation worsened with time and now includes intense burning in both hands, weakness in all extremeties, severe headache and neck pain...along with other bizarre symptoms, like sweating profusely on only the right side of my head/face when I eat.  I've seen 22+ providers since this began (Prior to Mayo where I am seeing many, many doctors and undergoing extensive tests), including my original surgeon (who treated me like a drug seeker)and no one could explain or relieve the symptoms. Trying desperately to get to the bottom of it now. Though no conclusions yet, one neurologist noted that neuropathy is a known bariatric surgery side effect. I am so sorry to alarm you (and others). My surgery was 2/05 and I'm down 170 lbs and I have been absolutely compliant with all aftercare.

By any chance are you taking Topamax for either migraine or seizures?  It causes horrible tingling in the extremities - to the point of being painful.  It used to wake me up out of a dead sleep.

Could be circulation problems also which should improve with exercise.  However, just to be on the safe side, I would call your Doctor and check with them!  Good Luck!
