Make your OWN 32 cal per half cup frozen yogurt!

I've been raving about the Carbolite products for some time now, but who listens to me, right?
They only make the tastiest chocolate bars ever with caramel, tons of nutrients and protein, lower carbs, and easily tolerated sugar alcohols, right?

http://www.healthsmartfoods.com/index.php?main_page=

But you best darn well listen to this-- YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN FROZEN YOGURT that's 64 cals a cup!  32 cals a half cup! Yes you can! Indeedy! You can also toss in protein, DaVinci syrups, nuts, berries-- you call it! Only 4 carbs per serving!

You mix one cup of mix with 2 cups of water. In my home freezer, somehow that only yields a little over 2 cups of creamy frozen dessert yumminess...but if you can use a better freezer or aerate it first with an Aerolatte I think you can get a higher yield. (Nutritional values increase when you use a non-commercial freezer because they add air).

Comes in chocolate and vanilla-- vanilla's versatile for add-ins.

This...a cold stone...some SF treats to mix in...I could be rich!

Seriously tho...can you make this in an ice cream maker?  I mean *how* do you make it?  Just mix and put it in the freezer?  I'm confused (as usual).

You make it in an ice cream maker.

Freeze the cannister. Dump a cup of mix and 2 cups water into a blender and mix/aerate it. Dump into ice cream freezer. In ten minutes, you have 2 cups of soft serve.

Very easy and yummy! Pricey though--- but my Only 8 was $3.00 for two cups. I think this'll run about $1.50 for two cups--- better deal, more opportunities for playin'!

One cup mix, blended in a blender (or aerated) with 2 cups water.

Is your ice cream maker's bucket frozen solid first? And did you put it in straight away? (If you let it sit out even a few minutes it loses its ability to surface freeze.) If not, put the mix in the fridge and refreeze for a day. I have had that happen before too.
