I tried this today using 1.5 C mix and 2 C water, it worked out great. If you were using 1 C mix before, add alittle more.

I envy you having the Only 8 place near you, we don't have that here in MN. I've been missing soft serve ice cream in particular since surgery.  So, I just ordered the frozen yogurt mix today along with some other goodies from the site. Can't wait to get them.

My order w/ chocolate and vanilla Carbolite just arrived, along with 1/2 dozen of the bars.  I am so excited to try it, but don't want to mess it up and want the best result.  You suggest mixing the water and mix in the blender to make it more airy?  How long do you blend?  Have you tried adding protein powder to yours? How much and did it change the texture?  I'm hoping it will be smoother and creamier than "protein ice cream."

It will not be as creamy as ice cream because you mix it with water, not milk. If you mixed it with milk or cream you'd get a nicer result but you'd push the calories up a lot. Ditto for adding protein.

Use 1 part powder, 2 parts water. In a 1.5 quart Cuisinart, a cupa and a half of powder and 2 cups of water works. Just blend the crap out of it-- it mixes fast-- maybe a minute.

Thanks!  Gonna whip up a batch this afternoon.  Oh, and that 100 calorie , 9G protein Chocolite Peanut Butter bar is THE BEST peanut butter bar I've ever had!  I'll be ordering more of those for sure!

I"ve had this post saved for a while, because I ordered some of this mix and just got around to making it this morning. It's da bomb!! I mixed the chocolate up in the ice cream maker after blending it in the Vitamix (gave it a LOT of volume). I added some German Chocolate Cake DaVinci flavored syrup while it was in the ice cream mixer and hoped for the best.

Within about 15 minutes of mixing, I had a cannister of creamy, luscious chocolate delight. I spooned it out into 7 half cup containers that I froze, then promptly ate one myself. Oh my stars, it is wonderful. This is a keeper.
