How do you make your protein coffee?
I am having a difficult time getting cold and room temp liquids down. They seem to feel stuck but hot liquids seem to slide down much easier, especially in the morning. I have seen people post about sipping their protein coffee's and just wondered how you make them so they taste tolerable as that would be a good solution for me for breakfast.
Any tips about either would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

The method you mean or what ingredients?
The method:
I put one scoop of protein powder in a cup and mix it with about an ounce of room temperature liquid. It's important to do this and to mix it well because protein powder will not dissolve into hot liquids. Mix it until it forms a smooth paste. Then I add the coffee and stir, stir, stir!!!
My running favorite is chocolate protein powder with coffee and SF hazelnut syrup. It all works somehow. Don't ask me why. Vanilla will work as a creamer and lighten up your coffee a lot and I do that with SF hazelnut as well. Sometimes I do a latte and use 8 oz of milk, 1 oz room temperature water, and 3 oz. boiling water. The cool thing about that is that the protein powder makes the foam that you would get on a regular latte.

I LOVE the hazelnut in my coffee. heeh Its just a great flavor, for me at least. Definitely any protein powder you have to mix up before adding the hot liquids to them or it clumps. As Cleo said, mix mix mix to a paste. You leave one clump and it will be a cooked clump and that's not so pleasant.
I love the Click protein really. I only do half the serving as it is too much chocolate in it and I do add regular decaf expresso too it as I like to have a more coffee taste. It helped me break my Starbucks habit and is cheaper on the wallet than going there all the time. OH and Starbucks is offering free samples of their new Via instant coffee. Let me grab the link off my email.

If this is decent, I might just be getting some to add to my Click instead of making extra expresso at home to bring in to work to add to it.

I do not well with cold or room temperature drinks.
You do not want to warm the protein above 130F.
Telling that - I enjoy my very warm protein coffee in the morning. I mix 1 cup hot coffee + 3/4 cup protein mixed with water or milk. Mix the 2 together, put it in a thermos (or it would get cold too soon) Sip and enjoy.

I get the Isopure unflavored protien powder from GNC in the big tub and put one scoop in my coffee each morning in place of creamer. Then I add a little SF da vinci syrup and I am set with 23grams!
It is my morning ritual now. LOVE it!
Also, if we ever go to Starbucks, I have them add a scoop of their 20 gram protien poweder to my coffee there too.

I use one scoop of Click protein in 3/4 water in a very large mug. I stir it with a latte frother whisk. Put in microwave for about a minute take it out and stir it again microwave for about another 45 seconds. Take it out and fill up with room temp water an add 1 scoop of Nectar Vanilla Torte protein. Stir again with the frother. Add splenda and enjoy. I get about 30 grams of protein from this first thing in the morning.
Just make sure the water isn't too hot for the protein or like others have said you have a cup of lumpy protein. I don't think the temperature affects the Click as much as regular protein though.
