Recipe-- Shari-taki Cinnamon Raisin Noodle Kugel

I have been missing this! I think I need to get these noodles today and try this...
I've seen them before, but they kinda scared me, with all the liquid in the package...LOL
But, if they're good enough for you...they're good enough for me!

What the hell is a kugle?  Sounds too much like kegel.  I'm from the 'hood.  We don't know nothin bout no kugles.

What you need to do is Google Koogle (Kugel) 

What? There are no Jewish people in the 'hood? Yep, I love me some kugel.

What?  no jews in the 'hood?     I'd never heard of Kugel either... then I met some jewish friends and had to cook something jewish for a theatre party that I hosted.  (it was a strike party for a jewish themed show... blah blah blah)     It is super yummy.  

Long story short, it's a traditional jewish dish that can be savory or sweet but each time I've had it, it has been sweet.  The noodles mixed with all of the other stuff kinda congeal together and you cut it like you would a cake.... not  like a tuna casserole  if that makes sense.  Think mac and cheese how our families make it with all the cheese and gooey crap in the big ol' cassarole dish.  Skip the yellow cheese, add sour cream and raisins and cinnamon.  

Really, really good.

On a serious note, It hadn't occured to me until now that shirataki noodles might be kosher for passover.
[Though I'm not exactly known for caring about such things personally--as I'm the black sheep in the family who embraced the J man-- I have some very observant relatives who are strictly kosher, so I am going to look into this for them.]
