Water consumption stretching pouch??
Okay, it is very clear that I need to be getting more water in, but with the no-food-for-15-min-after-you-drink and then no-water-for-60-min-after-you-eat I am having a problem finding times to drink. I am a tour guide and do not have acess to water at every moment (can't have a bottle with me on tour, bummer). So I would need to guzzle 15 ounces 3 to 4 times a day, but I am afraid of stretching my pouch.
Any ideas or thoughts on water stretching the pouch??? Help!

Think of your new stomach as more of a funnel. Fluids will pass VERY quickly. It's will be darn near impossible to stretch it with water. You notice I said darn near impossible. If you had a stricture where NOTHING passes easily, then it might be possible. I've been chugging water since about 2 weeks out and my pouch is still nice and small at over 3 years.
I am five weeks out and can take normal size sips/drinks. The only time I feel a little pain is if I take a sip right after eating. So I have learned to wait just as the rules say :-). I take water with me where ever I go. My husband bought me a water jug thing that I fill up and it has something around it so the water stays cold most of the day. I do add ice. He bought it at CVS. I cannot drink water unless it is cold. I also enjoy decaf tea and my morning coffee. I can only drink about half of a medium coffee from Dunkin Donuts. I have not drank anything else since surgery. I do not care for the flavored water or crystal light.
