Whoever mentioned adding Crystal Light to Isopure Protein Drinks, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I can now handle any of the protein drinks after I add in a little Crystal Light.  Right now I'm sipping on some Isopure Alpine Punch with Cherry Limeade added. It's soo delicious!  I can seriously drink this all day.  Plus 40 grams of protein in 20 oz, SWEET!!

THANKS AGAIN!

I use these drinks:

And add in some Crystal Light. I find that the store brands are just as good. I use Target's store brand often.

I really like these drinks when I'm on the go as I add lots of ice, throw it in my thermos, shake it really good and it will stay cool while I'm out doing errands and I get tons of protein which is such a bonus.

You can also get Vanilla and add any sugarfree jello to your blender.   I like lemon or lime as it adds a little "sour" aspect to the drinks.   Start with a teaspoon you can always add more.   Good luck.    Take some deep breaths and relax.

I need to add Crystal Light to mine too in order to drink it.  But I do find that it causes a little of the protein to settle to the bottom.  My real problem with the Isopure drinks is that after a while I get protein "gunk" stuck in the back of my throat that I finally have to spit out.  But still, 40 g of protein in one bottle is hard to beat!

It gets stuck in the back of my throat too, I usually have to drink some water to get that protein down. I know it sounds soo disgusting, but I need every single bit of protein that I can get :)

I'm glad to know the crystal light actually works - I was sceptical.  My nut told me to try the isopure that way, because they are horrendous on their own.  I'm gagging now just thinking about them.  I will certainly try the crystal light trick now.  Thanks for the info!

It wasn't me, it was some other brain here on OH that mentioned it. I think it might have been Nik, but I can't remember for the life of me.  I hate hate hate the smell of these drinks, but the CL actually takes that smell away for me.

If you were at the LB coffee on Saturday, I mentioned mixing isopure with crystal light or with your cranberry, crangrape, etc....

I buy the premixed isopure at GNC and my favorite flavor is the grape.  I can handle drinking the grape on its own with ice.  Sometimes I freeze the bottle (small plastic bottles, 15 g protein) for a while to get it nice and slushy.  This is great if we are on the freeway to somewhere.
