So you say you miss grilled cheese sandwiches...
Now there are those who will argue that eating spreads is bad and horrible and yadda, yadda...but in my little opinion it's a far, far better thing to just eat a damn grilled cheese sandwich then eat a bunch of useless crap trying to avoid the grilled cheese sandwich.
With that being said...we can be smart about it.
Now if you've already figured this out...please just act impressed ok? If you take an Arnold sandwich thin (which we know you are eating already - don't front...) and flip it inside out...spread some Blue Bonnet light on it (you can get away with using very little since the bread is thin and slap a piece of cheese (or four. kidding! sorta.) between it and pan fry it on low...you got your grilled cheese! If you choose to go for shredded cheese, you can get the same amount of cheesiness in between your bread for less overall calories most times.
And THEN if you take a can of chopped tomatoes, some greek yogurt, a pinch o' splenda, salt and pepper and heat it up and then put into your blender...you have a mighty fine tomato soup. But then I can't even do the sandwich AND tomato soup. The bread hits the liquid and KABOOM! Tummy ache...so maybe don't do that. But just sayin.
When you want a grilled cheese sammich, you want a grilled cheese sammich...

Take 2 slices of tomatoe (pretty big ones)
Put cheese inbetween two slices - I used 2% provolone
You can then roll in toasted nuts, almonds, etc. I used sunflower seeds and then slow pan fry in a little butter....man oh man. Almost like having the soup AND the sandwich.
Add in a slice of deli ham or turkey for more protein boost... yum!
