I read you whole post too, and wanted to say I really feel your pain.  I hope you will reach a time in your life now where you will feel happy and peaceful inside your self.  May you be blessed, dear.

Hello my beautiful friend. You were one of the biggest influences on me when I first came to OH, and you continue to inspire me. LIFE is freaking hard, always has been, always will be, and it's especially tough when it throws you curve balls. You know I can relate to your issues with your mom. It's been almost two years since I lost my mum, and I'm shocked with myself at how hard it continues to be... It's just impossible to understand.

I'm glad you came back here, and I hope you get the support you need. Knowing you like I do, I'm sure that you'll give a lot more to the folks here than you'll get, but I'm sure you'll get what you need in the process.

May you continue to get stronger and "better" in the future. I'm pretty scarce around here these days, but I try to never forget what this place has done for me.

Happy 3 Year!! I am so glad you are back, it just wasn't the same here without you!  It can only get better from here on in!!!  You are so strong and I can't even imagine going through what you have and still being here to tell about it....You are such an inspiration to all of us, Peeks!

I am tearing up reading your post.  You have incredible strength to get through the last couple of years.  You have had many of life's worse events happen and it did not deter you.  You are much stronger than you give yourself credit for.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.  I faced that same thing this past May when my mother had her leg amputated above the knee for diabetic neuropathy and a botched knee replacement (believe it or not, her knee dissolved and the metal was left in causing numerous infections).  She also has MRSA which is the antibiotic resistant infection and I had to gown up but no mask.  She was very weakened due to the constant pain and I was really worried if she would survive this (she is 76) and she has always been tough but there is only so much a human being can stand.  She not only got through the surgery but she now has a new leg and therapy with 3 pts 3x a week.  My father has been a rock through all this and my sisters, brother and I have worried about him too because he is 81 and has health issues of his own which medication has put in remission (Parkinson's and Myestina Gravis-don't know if I spelled that right).

Your story inspires all of us that despite whatever life throws our way, one can perservere.  The only way to get these feelings out is to talk about them and we all understand.

You have had many things to make you sad-the tide will turn and you will have more happiness come your way.

Didnt know you back then but welcome back anyhow. I am so sorry for your loss. This period in your life has been tumultuous at best; I admire your courage; it is inspiring. Looking forward to seeing you on the board!

What an year you went through. Grief makes me hungry. Grief makes me think that ice cream is the best food choice. Grief sucks.
Take care and thanks for posting that.
