Panniculectomy Appeal Letter For Horizon BCBS NJ? Anyone? Bueller?
So my plastic surgeon's office called today to say that BCBS wants me to write an appeal letter for my panniculectomy. Anyone have experience with writing one, and what did you include in yours? Yes, my husband is a trained insurance professional, but as usual he is no help whatsoever. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. TIA!
ETA: I have already submitted pics of skin breakdown and documentation from my PCP of medications prescribed, skin breakdown, dermatology referrals, etc. Just not sure what tales of woe to include in the appeal letter.

Thanks, I have bilateral hip replacements so that's not really an issue but I do have back issues. Hopefully that will help with the appeal. I appreciate your response.
