Random Poll o' the Week...

OMG I do this tooooooooooooooooooooooo! I thought I was the only weird person! And, then when they start the heal, I bite them again! Ewww LOL

Okay Nik, i never should have read this. because one of my quirks is taking up other peoples bad quirks....  now i will have to make sure the logos on my cups line up!!! lol

a friend of mine told me that he has to have all his keys on his key chain turned the same way, now it drives me crazy to see keys that are not lined up.  mine are.  i already do the money thing, and i pull out my eyelashes if i am wearing mascara. 

but the water thing, i am just the opposite.  i cant stand for my feet to be a little wet.  they have to be all wet or all dry or it drives me totally insane.  i cant stand to step in a little puddle of water.  and when i water my flowers i have to have my tennis shoes on so my feet wont get wet.

if i am worried or stressed or upset, i scratch my head.  and i mean two handed. very noticable.  it doesnt itch, i just scratch it.  i know people think i have cooties.

I have to have my keys all facing the same way on my keychain.
I have to have all my folding money pointing the same way, and also in numerical order in my wallet.
I hate to sleep with my closet door open.
I have to load the dishwasher in a very specific way...when my hubby does it, I always have to do it over just so. (Yes, I know I should be glad he does it at all).
I have to clean off my desk and organize it before I go home at the end of the day.
The toilet paper HAS to be on the roll so that it is coming from the top. I can't STAND when it comes from under.
I HATE for people to read my magazines before I have. Even my husband!
I have to read the newspaper in section order. No skipping.
I am a chronic door checker. I'm sure my neighbors laugh if they see me...I pretty much ALWAYS will get out of my car and double check the door when backing out. They laugh or either are waiting for the day I actually leave it unlocked!

I do the car locking thing too.  I have to hear the horn telling me "I'm locked," even though I hear the locks going down on the first push of the button. 

My thing is I have to have at least one piece of furniture on an angle in the room.  I can't stand furniture that is straight up against the wall.  My husband says it takes up too much room, but I can't stand a "square" room. 

Hmmm...I have to close each set of blinds in the same direction and when I open them I like the slats to be level.  I have a similar experience as PuggyDawn - I lived overseas so I always take my shoes off at the door - it's so you don't track dirt and germs from outside all over the house. Plus it is so much more comfortable.   It bothers me to go to someone's house and see that they are wearing shoes.

I am definitly certifiable.

Mini blinds.  They all have to be facing up so the slightly curved side faces to the ouside when closed.  I have this insane worry that someone could look in at me sitting on my couch, plus it just drives me crazy to have them not look exactly alike by being in the same position whether they're open or closed. 

Toilet paper rolls.  Must be 'over the roll'.  I will change these wherever I go including public bathrooms if I can get the holder open.

Bath towels.  Must be folded like 6 times to achieve the small, compact, no-raw-edges, shape I require.  That 4-square thing does not do it for me.  I will actually re-fold other people's towels in their bathroom when I'm staying as a guest.  I blame my mother for this.  She taught me this way.  Why wasn't I able to brainwash my two boys into "doing it right?"   :o)

OK good thread......I am fairly new to the RNY board as I tend to post on the Ontario board but this one got me.
I am a door checker as well.......like in the night if I come down stairs to use the washroom or get a drink or something I have to check the back door to make sure it's closed and locked. Even on my way to bed I check to make sure. One night I guess it wasn't shut securely and there was a wind storm and it blew open......OMG sent my husband down stairs as I thought for sure someone had come in the house........
Second, I do a weird thing with the numbers on licesne plates........for example.......
I live in Canada, Ontario to be exact so a plate here, like my car, is AHBL 589......now that is an ok plate cause it's mine but if it was someone else's I would hate it.....cause the numbers don't match up........ok another example.......AAAW 729.....this is a good number cause 7 plus 2 IS 9...know what I mean.....weird yes....but gives me somthing to do on long drives!

my state-issued tag has 666 on it-it's the only one I've ever been able to remember.
