Hey all,

I picked up some multi-vitamins from Trader Joes called "High Potency Multiple Vitamin and Mineral Formula" chewable vitamins. They are pretty comparable to Bariatric Advantage's Multi ADEK, so I'm wondering if anyone has taken these and been fine with their labs? TJ's vitamins are considerably cheaper ($24.95 vs. $9.99), and the difference I see in the two are:

Vit D
Trader Joes: 400 IU
Bariatric Advantage: 667 IU

Vit E
TJ: 30 IU
BA: 250 IU

Vit B1
TJ: 1.5 mg
BA: 3 mg

Molybdenum
TJ: 10 mcg
BA: 37.5 mcg

Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks again.

That would be great if we can absorb it.  Its easy to get more D since its included with your calcium and sublingual B complex is cheap and easy to find as is vit e.  I hope there is a knowledgeable response on this.  Were my labs not already declining from Centrium I'd try them.

I've taken the Trader Joe's chewable vits since my surgery 6 months ago - you really can't beat the price.  My 3 month labs were all fine. I'll be getting my 6 month labs drawn soon, so I'm hoping everything is still okay.

I buy them once in awhile in a pinch...but i still take addition C, D3, B-12 --- and I dont' think they taste very good.    After trying many different types, I decided it was worth it to me to spend a little more for something I love the flavor of and I know works.  I order multi, calcium, d3, b12 and iron all from celebratevitamins.com - they are on autorefill every 3 months so I don't have to shop anymore.    Heck all the money I'm saving from eating out 3 times a day goes to vitamins :)
