Isopure.....fruit punch...ughhhhh!

I just tried the fruit punch made by Isopure....ughhh, it even smells bad. I am trying to get it down but this is one I will not buy again. I also have bought samples of the Nectar proteins, I am hoping they will be better. I just may have to go with no flavor protein added to other drinks. Do all protein drinks taste yucky?

I brought home lots of Isopure from the hospital and didn't find one that wasn't vile. The orange pineapple was the best. I mentioned this to a man at GNC and he said the GNC brand was better tasting according to his customers. It was a dollar cheaper so I bought one. UGH. It was worse than Isopure.

I just resorted to protein shakes - they are much easier on the palate.

I mixed mine either with a lot of ice and some sour (lemon?) drops, or with ho****er - at least 1:1 But the fruit punch - - could not handle that.
The ones I could drink were the yellow, the purple and the blue... still can - if I have to,,, my back up proteins...

I bought a whole case of this at GNC before my surgery. I tried one before surgery and thought it was okay, something I could handle. After surgery... no way. I couldn't stand it, couldn't drink it at all.

The only way I can drink Any of the isopure flavors is to add a butt load of splenda, not very good for me i know.

However I LOVE all the nectar proteins! I have no problems with any of them! my current fave is the pink grapefruit.

I know, I have a case sitting there also..But the 4 oz sample of the IsoPure Plus Grape is really light and delicious..it has 15 grams of protein and so easy to get down. The plus is so much easier to drink and it comes in a little plastic bottle. Yum

i have also found that 1 packet of diet hot chocholate mix does wonders to any chocolate or vanilla protein powder ... it is 25 cals 2g of protein and sugar
