Looks like your bmi is 42. So yes. BMI's 0ver 40 with comorbities or not, qualifies.  :)

yes, it is possible,,,
I was 231 day of surgery, bmi of 40.4 but I also had a issue with my heart ....
depending on your health status it is very possible.

It's all BMI related. If you have a BMI over 40 your good. BMI over 35 with comorbidities (diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, etc.)

I was 234 when I started the journey towards WLS. I'm 5'2 so my BMI was 42.8.
I now weigh 126 to 128 pounds and my BMI is 23.2.

Gosh I wish I'd considered surgery when I only weighed 230 lbs!! It all depends on your BMI and co-morbidities.

Good luck!

i was 5'0 and about 240 when i started looking in to surgery, by the time of surgery i was up to 251 (my metabolism and body was severly out of whack and i gained weight no matter what i did). co-morbities are health issues caused by your weight. i had a bunch, high blood pressure and cholesterol & sleep apnea, and was running on the high side with my blood sugar but not enough to be diabetic. plus i have cardiomyopathy (an enlarged heart)
