In my 4th week out.. going out to eat at Olive Garden tonight...
I'm six weeks out and did cheese ravoli there. It sat fine-I had to make sure I chewed really well and took most of it home. I also had a couple bites of salad.
I also went there a couple weeks ago and ate the minestrone soup and that was awesome. Be careful with that though-lots of beans which meant lots of gas:)

Yeah I've noticed (in doing other posts) that my surgeon's meal plan is a lot different then others out there. My food doesn't have to be pureed or anything.
I can have egg salad, baked/broiled flaky fish, soft cooked veggies, soft fruits, soft cooked pasta, soft cooked beans/legumes (which I'm not a fan of lol), hummus, tofu, couscous, and quinoa. I can also have canned tuna or salmon, toast, and 1/2 scrambled egg.
That's my meal plan for the next 3 weeks. Then after that I hit my last week which is where I can start introducing meats.
I appreciate all the input! I will check out the menu online and see what this minestrone soup is all about. I've had pasta already and it's sat fine with me.

Our local Olive Garden always has fish. I'd be more apt to eat fish with steamed veggies since you are allowed those. Pasta can be tricky early out and the soups probably have hidden sugars that could cause you to dump.
