Anyone else's stomach too small to eat solids 9 months out from surgery?
Going to the hospital that houses your weight loss surgeon is an excellent idea, even if it is a bit of a pain in the neck..... this way the surgeon can consult with the obstetrician and you can all work together to come to a conclusion.. You have a serious serious situation, both for your baby, as well as for your own long-term health and well being, and since you already have a little one, and another on the way, they deserve to have a fully functioning mommy who can see them grow up adn do all the things kiddos do.
Good luck to you, and yes, I totally totally think you should post the entire freaking thing ..... it'll be huge, but everythign I've ever heard about that group is that they are the BEST and most supportive and they'll read it through. I don't know NUTTIN about revisions and particularly about pregnancy, and I read it.... so I'm sure they'll read it with a LOT more attention and ideas than me!

I chased my dreams, and my dreams, they caught me!
Could some of the fatigue be because of the pregnancy? I know that when I was pregnant I felt tired all the time. Also, how are your labs? Are you anemic?
You definitely have had a hard time and I am not surprised, given your history, that you are having issues. I am sure there is a physical reason for your pain, you just probably won't be able to get an accurate diagnosis until the baby is born.
Please find an expert in bariatrics when you are able to. It sounds like you are going to need a very good one.

Your case is beyond the norm for complications. I strongly urge you to see someone in Ann Arbor. Your life and your baby's life and hrealth could depend on it.
The baby needs calcium from your bones for it's bones. Its tissues are being formed out of protein. Where is it getting it from if you are malnourished? This could have long-term repercussions for both of you.
Another thing to think about is getting a second opinion from someone experienced in high-risk revision surgery who has access to high-risk ob/gyn's in the same practice so they are sharing the same medical record.
That means the Cleveland Clinic. It's one of the top rated hospitals in the country for a reason. The surgeons there literally wrote the textbook on bariatric surgery. They see the complex cases nobody else sees on a regular basis. That means they get rerally, really good at those cases. The place also prides itself on getting consultations done quickly.
Either that or the Mayo Clinic.
I know you don't even want to travel even to Ann Arbor, but some things can't be helped.
God be with you.

Have you had your gallbladder removed or an ultrasound? I had a lot of back pain when and after eating since surgery for 9 months before discovering it was full of stones. Very common after losing weight. If you haven't had it checked recently I would do so. Good luck on finding answers to your problems. Congrats on those babies!
