Worried About Hernia

The other day I talked about how I noticed I have a hernia near my incision (I had an open surgery).  At the time I noticed it when I was passing gas and an egg shaped thing popped out.  There is no pain.  I called my surgeon's  office and I have an appointment for Thursday.  Since then it seems like it is growing as I watch.  It is now about orange size and pops out all the time.  I was told to go to the ER if there was any pain but should I worry about it growing so fast?

Honestly don't know..... but keep us posted.

I think if it bulged but didn't go back and/or you got localized pain, fever, or general GI distress, it would be time to go to the ER
