gas X and beano strips

for those that have taken these, did you take them in the hospital? did you ask the nurses for them, did you just take them with out them knowing? i have some beano strips that melt away in the mouth.... are they same as the gas X that you all keep mentioning?

also i have this stuff i got from the health food store for when i went on a boat, i get motion sickness VERY EASY and this was suggest, they are about the size of a head of a straight pin, you take 3 to 5 of them and chew them up and boy do they work for motion sickness...
they are called "****ulus indicus" they are itty bitty things to chew up...kinda hard, but not really, and no taste...can i take this in hospital if i feel naucous? do i have to tell the nurses i am taking it....there are alot of folks out there that do not  beleive in herbs and such....but these really work for me anyway...i get motion sickenss very easy, even if you are rocking in a rocking chair, i can not look at you as i get queasy....

i have sugery on the 4th, and i am trying to get all my stuff together and set aside...

For some reason I had no gas in the hospital.  It was after I got home that it hit.  As for being nauseous, they gave me something in my IV.
