Thank you for the insight!  I just wish I would look like a rockstar like that one lady's pics I saw! lol.  I am 25 but always get told I look younger.. hope to stay that way haha!  I don't expect my bat wings to go completely away but  was hoping to not "fly to Paris" as it was put, lol!  I use lotion all over about 4 times a day to keep my skin fairly moisturized and been trying to up my fluids more on top of working out.  Maybe I will get lucky, maybe I won't.  Only time will tell!  I am getting married in Sept and the dress I am in love with is a strapless  so I want to be able to wear it and look amazing without a bunch of flab.. but who knows, I may have to change my mind later on! haha!  Anyhow, thanks for letting me babble on and thank you for the replies!  I love you all! :)

My bat wings are being surgically removed.  Had consult Friday and need medical clearance and date set.  At 61 - even though I hydrate 120+ oz per day- the bat wings won't respond to anything but the "knife".

I have lost 50 pds with about 140 to go.  I had bat wings before I had surgery and now I have double bat wings.  My problem is doubly compounded by the fact I have problems with my shoulders and in fact cannot lift my right arm above my waste.  It sucks - I hate it, but I won't be able to afford the plastic surgery so I will justhave to be creative with clothes.  I will never be someone who can wear sleeveless.

My belly will hang for sure - I hold out some hope that insurance may cover it when the time is right.

As to my legs and such - when I lost before they weren't too bad but I was exercising a lot.  So hoping once that gets to be a regular things again they will look passable.

It's hte downside of this positive journey we are on.  I think we should all go together and design a clothing line for those who are post WLS!!!

I get the applause when exercising.. .. surgery is 6k.. 2 yrs Im sure I can take income take an put down payment on them.. or get small loan from bank.. waiting to hear from burn unit for donation I was told about, but might be a closed program not open to public.. will see..and I will share the info.. was told free removal if accepted....
