OT: Fake toenails?

Anyone ever tried them or even heard of them?  I have and injury to my right great toe.  Long story short, I got a pedi today and was not able to paint it.  I went online to see if there was a prosthetic toenail.  Well like 6 brands of Press On toenails.  I was amazed.  Well there I was in Wal Mart looking for the ones I wanted to take home with me.  It was so embarrassing to purchase.  Worse than buying condoms.  LOL.  Well, I only needed one, I painted it, glued it on and voila, 10 perfect little tootsies.  I will be wearing flip flops tomorrow (weather permitting, its storming now) so I am a happy little camper.

fake toenails.. love them!  i was just thinking today that its just about sandal weather and time to buy my toenails  lol

i usually get a file too cuz they are usually a bit long and i like to scratch my natural nail a little to help adhere the nail with superglue

I had to have a toenail removed last year and it will not grow back.  Usually they just pain the skin and it lasts for a week or so.  I had a pedi on Wed and they put an acrylic nail on that lasted about 12 hours.  What kind of nail did you get?  I want one. 

They are called BROADWAY NAILS. In the section where polish and such is sold. I think I am gonna have this one removed also. ARGH!!!!

I had an injury to my big toe and the nail came off... It looked pretty icky but I just walked around with it hanging out in my flip flops anyway, lol... I never would have even thought of looking for a fake toenail :D That's awesome!

I had been putting a kiddie bandaid on it for a long time. Now I can have pretty toes again. I wonder how they will hold up in water.

I actually love "false toe nails" because they make my polish last much longer. I get them done at a pedicure salon.I have fungus issues with my big toes ...so they are not a smooth as others...No one can tell a difference.
