Cheese Question
So I have realized that I eat a lot of string cheese the mozzarella kind... but if I eat cheddar cheese on or with anything my pouch is angry at me lol Does anyone else have this problem?! It is driving me insane cause I use to have cheese on everything just about but for now my pouch doesn't feel so great if I do that unless its the string cheese. I wonder if I would be okay if I just put mozzarella on everything instead of cheddar if I would be okay
You would be fine, but I would try cheddar again in a month or two. As your pouch matures, it tolerates more and more things.

You don't have to "watch" fat per se, but just be mindful as high fat foods can make you dump like crazy or feel sick overall...mozarella is naturally lower in fat than cheddar, so that could be the culprit of why you feel that way after eating it as opposed to the low-fat mozarella. Everyone is different and I always say...trial and error, trial and error! You'll find what works for you. :)
That's because most surgeons don't tell you about it! LOL Go figure...but high fat, carbs and/or sugar can make you dump. Or for me, its combinations of things like dairy+sugar **** cream, chocolate milk, etc.), fats+carbs (french fries, anything deep fried, etc.). Have you tried to just eat a peice of cheddar cheese without something else? If you are daring (I use to like to see what works and what doesn't), try that...eat it alone on an empty stomach and see if you have the same result. If not, then you know it is bad when combined with (XYZ).
Trust me, all they will usually tell you is to watch for sugar, "nothing more than 10 grams per sitting" is what I was told. There is SO much more to it than that...I found out independently. :) Good luck!
