i start puree foods next friday. i am just wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for puree foods.

something easy that i can eat cold to take to a baseball game 2.5 hours away with no place to heat anything up would help. i can have string cheese on day 15. i was wondering if anyone things it would be bad to take 1 string cheese to the baseball game and let it get really soft and warm and chew it very well or would that be way too early.

edit: baseball game is on friday(day 10, starting purees)

Everyone's plan is different.  That being said, I tried eggs, accidentally--meaning on my plan they aren't allowed until the soft chopped stage.  I wrongly assumed they were allowed during pureed.  So, what I'm getting at is, it's largely about what your pouch will tolerate.  I am allowed string cheese.  It is my new BFF!!!  It's very easy to chew to mush and has not irritated my pouch.  I'd say you should try it before being away from home, to see if it's tolerated, then if so, take it with you.  I would not try something new away from home.

maybe pack a little lunch box with some yogurt or cottage cheese. But I would def only take what I had had before as being away from home is not where you wanna find out that you dump or react to a new food.

I took hummas and applesauce to a outdoor barbeque and was there for hours.  It was fine.  I also look a saltine.
