In my case I get it if I eat a few fries or chicken nuggets (bad I know but sometimes the chicken nuggets are the only "safe" option) or if I get decaf coffee with my usual 4-5 splendas (in a big one) and they use REAL sugar

Start planning ahead when you can. Don't put yourself in the position where chicken nuggets are the safest option. Carry protein powder or a bar in your purse to hold you over until you can get to something grilled. lol

I do plan ahead, however when you can only drink certain protein drinks and have no way to keep them cold you gotta do what you gotta do.  I have yet to find a protein bar that doesn't make me sick and PB cracker packs only have 5g of protein, not enough for a meal...

In a pinch, a luke warm pre-mixed shake might be okay or if you can use powder, buy cold milk or water while out. What about nuts or something like toasted chickpeas that don't have to be cold? There has to be something you can carry with you that's better than fried chicken nuggets. We only have so much time before our bodies stop the malabsorption, so you want to use the early out time to get the crap out. Heck, I even bake my own vegetarian chicken nuggets to take with me when we take our nephew to McDonald's. No, they aren't hot anymore, but it's preparing me for a life of preparation.

Check your blood sugar when this happens, it could be tanking after the high sugar/fat meals.  This is how I finally realized I was experiencing reactive hypoglycemia, all diet related. The "hot flash" is almost unbearable!

I was pretty sure that reactive hypoglycemia is a delayed reaction, not an immediate reaction. An immediate reaction to eating is dumping. (also an insulin reaction, but not hypoglycemia)
