Start planning ahead when you can. Don't put yourself in the position where chicken nuggets are the safest option. Carry protein powder or a bar in your purse to hold you over until you can get to something grilled. lol

In a pinch, a luke warm pre-mixed shake might be okay or if you can use powder, buy cold milk or water while out. What about nuts or something like toasted chickpeas that don't have to be cold? There has to be something you can carry with you that's better than fried chicken nuggets. We only have so much time before our bodies stop the malabsorption, so you want to use the early out time to get the crap out. Heck, I even bake my own vegetarian chicken nuggets to take with me when we take our nephew to McDonald's. No, they aren't hot anymore, but it's preparing me for a life of preparation.
