Depo after RNY???

I'm considering Mirena - I actually go to my gyne tomorrow. So silly question... can you feel it - like when you're 'intimate'? Lightened periods sure would be a bonus! I was also considering Implanon (the one that's implanted in your arm) - but read that 50% of people who get it have to have it removed due to excess bleeding.

I take seasonique, it worked to stop my bleeding when the depo didn't!! :D And, I only get my monthly gift every 3rd month!! :D

I will talk to my doctor about it ore when I see her on Monday...I just don't like the IUD idea for some reason. I like having control..lol ad with that I can't just remove it when I want to. Plus the side effects scare me a litle. I know they are rare but if I was one of the few it happens to it would devastate me.

does anyone know if you can have a IUD and take the birth control pill? my dr wants to cycle and have a period each month as i went many, MANY, MANY years with out and ended up having 2 DNC's..i am getting the referral from my PCM to go to my OBGYN, thats the way it works with the basse and tri care..but at least i have insurance and its not that bad...but the PCM has to give all referrals..but thats ok, he has given me everything i have ever needed or asked for...
