Ohhhh...romantic! I'd say this recipe is good for one non-op sized bowl + one you sized bowl. I'd give him something on the side though. A panini? A salad?

I RARELY post on any food related things - I'm not much of a cook or baker - but I LOVE my French Onion Soup! It's a great option when eating out if there is nothing else on the menu you want to go with. It's also great on those days when you aren't quite up to solids but need nutriiton and something hot. Our Tim Hortons up here in Canada - I believe there are some in the US also - has French Onion Soup on the menu. So it's widely available - as fast food, in a restaraunt - or at home should you choose to make it yourself. I have also bought a frozen version from Sobeys - a grocery chain in Canada - and surprisingly - it was quite good. So  I'm still typing - that says how much I love it! Thanks Nik!
