THURSDAY GRATEFUL POST

  Morning Everyone,

Can't believe that Easter is this sunday.    That will be a very busy day for my family.    Can't believe that before we know it the year will be half over.    We ALL have so very much to be grateful for in our lives....no matter how large or how small.    We should all be grateful that we have computers, this website and not living on the streets and homeless.   PLEASE feel free if you wish to share with us what you are grateful for.    Here are a few of the things that I am grateful for today in my life.........

For waking up this AM....alive and still kicking,
For my Family and friends who are so very important to me,
For my Faith and answered prayers,
For the Easter story and true meaning of Easter,
For my WLS and all the different choices of WLS,
For my furbabies who love me unconditionally,
For my life and health,
For Obesity Help, all the information on here and all the wonderful people on the message boards,
For the upcoming OH Conference in New Orleans. La Sept. 9-10 It should be a awesome one.

I always enjoy reading your post, you are always so upbeat and positive.

I wanted to share that I am so thankful to have gotten to spend this past week with my family in beautiful Hill County,Texas. (Not Hill Country...Hill County....ie:  Hillsboro, Malone, Penelope, West) Family Reunions are awesome!

As always I am thankful for God's bountiful mercy and grace....oh yeah -- also thankful for Bluebonnets and little boys who sit in them!

 Beautiful photo Karen.   I live one hour north of Hillsboro.   I love the springtime here in Texas too.   The bluebonnets are always beautiful although this year there are not as many as usual.    Hope you have a blessed Easter.

thank god for jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  that he died and rosed again. im homeless but i still have so much to be thankful for. i lost everything that i had when i hurt myself at work and now they so i have Fibromyagalia.................... but im still grateful i had plans for the surgery before i lost everything...... then i lost my insurance right before surgery but my the grace of god i got state insurance just in time so i did not have to reschdule. im so grateful that god is still taking care of me. i went to a church member the day before my surgery and told her about it.... because i could not be sleeping on the floor anywhere after a major thing like this and she let me came to her house and she told good care of me. im 4 months out i thank god so much.....

 Latrece........Amen to all you said.  I am sorry that you lost everything and are homeless.   It is such a shame when that happens to someone. None of us are exempt from that happening at anytime.   My heart breaks when I see a homeless person....particularly the one's that need medical attention.    Thank God for the dear woman who took you in and is taking good care of you.     I hope you didn't take offense to me saying I was glad I wasn't homeless.    Trust me....no one deserves to be homeless.    I thank God daily for so very many many things.    Congratulations on your surgery and prayers going out for you that you will soon not be homeless anymore.    God bless you my sister !!!
