i think i am just starting a yeast infection...bummer....i have an appt with my OBGYN on the 17th, but what all do you use for this? do you think this is from having a cathater while being in the hospital? i got some medicated wipes and some cream a 3 day insertable cream...
i do not get these very often, i've only had a few of them, but just getting the first warning signes.....burning and itching...can we take the diflucan (spelling sorry) after surgery?

I'm no doctor (at all) so please defer to your doc... but I do take lo-dose antibiotics for years now for Acne. Antibiotics have a tendency to kill BAD bacteria but also GOOD bacteria. My first guess is that it's an after-effect of the antibiotics. But that's just my guess. I know I got more of them when I started my antibiotics :(

I got one right about the same time. My doctor said it was from all of the antibiotics being pumped in during and after surgery. We can take Diflucan and it does come in liquid. It's better if you can swallow the pill because if take the liquid you have to take it for 12 days.

I had surgery on the 19th and today I realized I have one also....typically I dont get one unless ive been on certain antibiotics so I assume thats what it is.
