I have been using the Calcium chewables from Bariatric Advantage, but I was wondering is there anything like a powder I can put in my drink or another type to get the right amount of calcium what are other options for calcium that maybe might be less expensive for me.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Yes, Upcal D.  I love it.  500 mg calcium citrate per serving, you put it in a drink or mix it in yogurt or pudding and it has no taste at all.  And it is not too expensive.

Up-Cal D is a calcium Citrate powder, available online.  I've used it in a warm drink at night, just swirl the dregs so you get it all.  Not too gritty.

I also use the Calcium Citrate w/Vit D and Magnesium available from Trader Joe's.

Good luck.

Gotta order it online.  I get mine from Colonial Medical but I think you can also get it from Amazon.  And you can use it three or four times a day, for all your calcium needs.

I love it.  If you put it in a drink and let the drink sit a while, it starts to settle to the bottom.  But just shake or stir, and it mixes right in again.
