I am on OH at least twice a day so that I can keep up on the latest.  I've read that WLS patients are using Papaya Enzyemes to help relieve stuck foods, is there any other benefit for taking papaya enzyemes?

Second, I do understand water weight gain and I know that sodium plays a part in that.  If I remember correctly a heart patient is limited to 1200 intake of sodium, I am not a heart patient and I calculated my sodium intake for the month of April and it is an average of 1500.

Good/bad/or indifferant-any thoughts.

Papaya enzymes help with food digestion.  I only take them when something isnt sitting right or my tummy feels "upset".  It helps very quickly and I have been very thankful when I needed them.  I do not need to take them that often so far.....less than 10 times since my surgery almost 8 weeks ago.  I have taken them after epsiodes of the foamies and they help settle my tummy down as well.

I do not have an answer regarding your sodium question.....hopefully someone else can help you there.

Good luck!!!
