I was about 234 at my highest and about 225ish (give or take a pound or so) at surgery. The first month I got down to 199.8 or so. LOl. I hit my original goal of 150 at 6 months and met my 135 goal at 9 month's. I've been at 125-128 since September.

If you look at your ticker. Your only 3 months out and down 50% of your EW. That's fantastic! I don't think your losing slow at all!

I was 280lbs and I lost 100lbs by the 7th month post op. After that it slowed WAY down. I am losing maybe 3 or 4lbs per month now.

My high was 255 and I was 234# at surgery.  I have lost weight every month since my surgery over 2 yrs ago - but I didn't get to my goal until 23 months post op.

I'm 61 years old, metabalism all messed up from decades of losing and gaining weight, I'm short, hypothyroid.

I have kept a food journal every day and that has helped me so much.  I have in "black and white" that I have followed program.  I try to not compare myself to others.

Even though I have had slow weight loss, I have a lot of excess skin hanging.  I'm having brachioplasty and abdominoplasty the 24th of this month.  I also have need of a lower body lift, but don't know if will do that or not.

We are each so different.  Embrace and own your journey.  Best wishes to you.

Thank you all for your support and comments. I think it's been a struggle for me because I need to get to 190 before my hysterectomy surgery later this month to get life insurance. I also have tried not to compare myself with other people but I have to say that I compare myself with my buddies and sometimes others ticklers. I just wanted to hear from people who started around the same weight as I had. I am trying to stay positive but sometimes I need a little encouragement. Thanks again.

You and I are losing at about the same rate. Similar surgery weights, and surgery dates. I'd say you are doing just fine.
