Had turkey jerky last night for the first time, 3-1/2 YEARS out.

Tasty as all-out.  Saltier than a can of morton's.  Delicious.

But not early out.

Test everything...Get the pouches OK (about 3-5 minutes).  Beef can be hard to digest...Pork even harder.  You might want to try Wendy's Chili (with cheese) first to see how you handle beef...

I was pretty early out. I was surprised how well I tolerated it. I couldn't/can't handle the turkey jerky because for me it's too dry.
Beef jerky is my favorite movie snack and I have some in my locker at work for emergency food when the shift is busy and I don't have time to stop and eat.

I'm 7 weeks out, I just tried the teriyaki beef chunks for the first time yesterday and handled it fine.  I was afraid of the regular jerky.  Plus the chunks aren't nearly as hard to chew.
