OT: Not the year for the Capitals...again...
Well, at least I got to go to game 5 of the 1st round where they won the series. It was incredibly exciting--perfect actually. A big huge thanks to my dear, dear friend who made that happen. Eternal moment for sure...

Missed tonights game (had to work) but hubby and I are going to game 4 on friday.. sort of my last hurrah since my surgery date is Monday and I probably won't feel like going to another game this season...well, maybe the finals if they make it that far (won't be for a couple of weeks at least since they'll still have to get through round 3).

Mary, you lucky dog!! I do have the motto that I am the fan of two teams, the Caps and any team playing the Flyers!!! Went to the Spectrum years ago for a game and was treated like trash--cussed at, food and drink thrown at us, threatened in a bathroom. Scary, scary people at that game in Philly.
Enjoy your game! The one I went to was so super charged with energy and excitement. It was great! I will certainly say a prayer for your safe surgery and speedy recovery (and that the Flyers get their butts handed to them!!! :-)
