What should I be buying now..
Hey Naomi!! I know you're getting exciteddddd!!
I'm going to agree with everyone about the PJ's at the hospital. Don't bring them I did and they sat in a bag.
DO bring a robe, something comfy and long.
I hated the hospital socks, so, I actually had my own pair of soft comfy socks that had rubber nubbies at the bottom, they were pink and fuzzy...I think I got them at walmart or some such place.
Bring Chapstick. I brought my own blanket, it was nice and comfy and homey.
I brought shampoo and conditioner and bodywash. I got to shower twice while I was there.
Lotion.
Comfy clothes to go home in.
Panties.
And, I got this reccomendation while I was browsing the boards....Bring pads...I didn't think much of it, but, there it was when I got to the hospital. yuk. Bring them just incase!
As far as home....
SF Pudding. I use it to put my crushed pills in...and it's delish!
Crystal Light
SF Popsicles...I just got the store brand, they're yummy. And Fruity
Broth. Lots of broth
Cream soup. I LOVE mushrooms, so, I got the cream of mushroom, cream of Broccoli...the ones I like.
Cream of Wheat (get some SF jam or jelly to put in it...or pure vanilla extract)
Protein. I took everyone's advice and got a bunch of samples. Its been helpful since I wasn't sure which would have been best...I still have a few left to try before I make my decision.
Apple Sauce (I am not allowed to have this until my soft foods phase, but I have it on hand)
I waited on vitamins because the nutritionist came in after my surgery with a list...I had my mom order the pills and stuff that I needed from Bariatric Advantage and they should be here any day now.
Anyhoo, good luck, and keep us updated. I am sooooo excited for you, girl!!! :)

Very little of any one thing..
I stocked up on things that I liked and thought I would be able to tolerate immediately before surgery. I couldn't believe how much things changed as far as my tastes went. Things I liked, I quickly hated and anything that surprised me and made me nauseous permanently went over to my "bleh-no way" list. And the protein supplements - try them before you buy a large container of them.
