Actually I was just the opposite.  I was up 2-3 times/night to pee or roll over, or just breathe better.  Now I rarely wake up except if I get tangled in the covers or my knnes start hurting.  I would suggest wearing earplugs, the kind you roll between your fingers to squeeze them and stick them in your ears to expand.  they work really well and do not disturb your sleep too much.  Might help with the noise factor.  cheap at Walmart.

also you might try deep breathing to shut off your brain.  7 seconds intake, hold for a few seconds and 5 seconds on the out breath.  After 6-10 of these you may relax enough to fall asleep.  Or a meditation CD to fall asleep.  Just a thought.  I have some positive experience with this too.

Anyway good luck with the non sleeping.  Maybe it will pass soon.  Cecelia

The medication s I was taking made me doze off most anytime I was still for more than 5 mintues.  Now that I am off the meds, I take a light sleeping pill, really does the trick.
