ok folks, i am flying on june 1st, with a 2.5 layover in minneapolis...i have decided to not try and take the small cooler with coolie pack on the air plane, just not worth it so...i have been in the orlando airport, will eat there with hubby before boarding the plane...but i will have to eat in the minneapolis airport, before my next jaunt...then once i get to rapid city, i have a 2 hour drive to my final destination.....out in the middle of no where....seriously.....in Wyoming.....i am heading to devils tower wyoming for 3 months...once the flying is done, i have more options for eating and such...

but any suggestions on where to eat, or what to eat while on my 2.5 hour layover in minneapolis..i have been there before on this trip, but that was well over 5 years ago..so not sure i remember, i just got to my gate, and ate what was closest..but with me being 2 months post op....i am on full foods, just no grains, beans, starches yet...but everything else is fair game...

also if any of you are out that way of devils tower, stop by the devils tower view, restuarant and gift shop,..i will be working there for 3 months, my parents own it and i am going up to help for the summer...we get hit with the sturgis crowd while they are over at sturgis....but stop by and introduce yourself..would be glad to meet you...
thanks again for any  help and suggestions
have a great day

I just traveled to and from Mexico and also wondered about the airport.  I did find yogurt and sometimes you can find the yogurt/granola combinations that are good, but armed myself ahead of time with fruit and protein bars in my carry on, and these held me over until I got to where I could eat regular food.  Most of the things in the airport aren't made for our little pouches.

Though I did eat lun*****ancun before flying back home and had an awesome shrimp yin-yang salad at Bubba Gump's that really hit the spot.

If your layover is in Terminal 1 there are alot of options.  It's a large airport with lots of shops and restrants.  You can always look up the airport online and scope things out ahead of time.
