OMG OMG OMG......
I am scheduled for surgery in THREE days
I have completed most of my shopping, although I CANNOT find Gas X strips. I have checked Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens, and Target, do they still sell the strips as all I can find is chewables and gel tablets... The hospital is 3.5 hours away, so I will be heading out on Tuesday for my pre-op appt.
Is there anything that I should pack that is a definite must, especially for the drive back home?
One more thing, will everyone PLEASE pray for me, I am quite emotional and am wondering if should write a will- I know I may be overacting but what if?

I had a will, and a living will, and a power of attorney, made before surgery. I don't think it's being too emotional, I think it's just common sense.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
A will is what you want done with your money and belongings if you die.
A living will is whether you'd want to be kept alive on life support if you were in a vegetative state, or if you want to give them permission to pull the plug.
A power of attorney name someone to manage your money if you can't. Like if you were in a coma for a while, the person you named could write checks in your checkbook, sell your car, whatever was needed to care for you.
A power of attorney for health care names someone to make medical decisions for you if you can't make them for yourself for some reason.
I think everyone needs all four documents.
