For pre ops who are contemplating surgery but scared of complications...pretty long

If the person who you were talking about wouldn't make appointments for you, who else did she refuse, or talk out of an appt with your clinic...NOT HER JOB, PERIOD... Seriously. I agree with everyone. As a critical care nurse, I do see bad outcomes from some WLS patients, but a thousand times more of bad outcome stemming just from obesity, and co-morbidities to be sure. Your co-worker has no business representing you, or your clinic with that attitude. Personal choice still is an option. Sorry, kinda cheesed when I hear about ignorant people with self percieved power over others.

She's made appointments for all patients who come in, for bariatric patients who need medical clearance. She has just been against it for us coworkers that she cares/loves in fear of something happening. People are just ignorant and need open minds. I understand she cares about us but at the same time think about our health issues
