I agree with the other posters.

First of all though I need to congratulate you on what you have done so far.  Don't be so hard on yourself!  85 lbs is nothing to laugh at.

More calories--your body is starving and holding on to everything that you eat.

Don't skip meals.  You need three meals and two snacks daily.  Each meal/snack should include protein.

More water

More and varied exercise (each session should be at least 30 minutes and as someone else has said, the type of exercise should vary).

Try these things--be patient and things will work out.  It's too early in the game for you to be frustrated.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

It also sounds like you are drinking with your meals.  You are not suppose to do that.

Hey Tubs...good to hear from you. Protein 1st always...my 2nd month I only lost 4 lbs because of not getting enough protein. I went to a support group meeting at the beginning of my 3rd month and they immediately told me protein was the key to weight loss. I started getting in my protein and dropped another 12 lbs. So now my whole day consist of getting protein in. Protein 1st always...dont fill your pouch up with things that dont have enough protein right now. I notice even now if a couple of days go by and I dont do so good on protein...the scale stops. But youre exercising is blowing me away!!! Way to go!!!!

I get fustrated too, my weight is really slowing down, my Dr. told me to watch my carbs as well, make sure with each meal I eat protein first, then veggies, then carbs.

I agree with everyone else, it's possible you are not getting enough food, and your body may be holding onto what you have.

The other thing is exercise, you could also be building muscle, which weighs more than fat, so that could also cause the scale to slow down.  I saw your recent pictures and your clothes are hanging off of you.

Keep up the good work, continue to exercise and just add more protein in your diet.  You are doing a GREAT Job.
