Coconut-Lime Protein Shake

Since surgery a bit over 3 weeks ago I have not been able to stand the smell or thought of drinking a protein shake. I've forced small amounts down. I know I have not been near meeting my protein goals... but just fixed a protein shake I liked. I saw a similar recipe on Eggface's site ... but edited the recipe with ingredients I had at home

1 cup Light Vanilla Soy Milk
1 scoop vanilla Unjury protein powder
1 tablespoon SF Coconut Syrup
1 teaspoon SF Lime jello
Several cubes of ice... And Blend - I use a magic bullet blender!

26 grams of protein .... 20 from powder and 6 from milk....

I will be experimenting with SF syrup and adding jello for flavor.

I swear I could not smell the protein powder... which is a first for me since surgery.

Any way you can get protein down at this stage is great! LOl. Of course I know have a nuty song stuck in my head. LOLOL

That sounds pretty good... I don't have the coconut syrup - wish I did.  I have the Nectar Carribean Cooler which is a pineapple/coconut type flavor.  Maybe I'll try that with the lime jello - thanks for the idea.
