I am so excited to finally be able to see my surgeon on Monday!! I have had the "lapband" for about 5 yrs. now with way to many issues and no weight loss. I want the RNY surgery over the summer. I teach full time so that would give me enough time to start healing properly.

I'll post again on Tuesday and let you all know how I made out........got everything ready......my list of questions, my clearance letter from my PCP. So here I go as I start my journey........................so excited!!!

Good luck!! Hopefully your Dr. isn't scheduling surgeries as far out as mine is/was. I got my surgery date on 3/30/11 & am scheduled for 5/31. It's been a long 2 months & I am MORE than ready!
