Smoothie Question - too much?
Thanks for the suggestions! I will keep an eye out for the items you suggested and if I can't get them then will try to order online.
I don't have a nutritional program or a guideline to follow so I am not sure what my caloric intake should be but I keep it under 1000/day. I was offered this surgery soon after moving here and jumped at it instead of researching the lack of support option here in Italy. Thank God for the people on this board, I have learned a lot from everyone!

Ah...then I would definitely say dial back on the fruit. If you are taking in 1,000 calories, that one shake is 40% of your daily caloric intake and it isn't even giving you a great protein return on your investment.

That's a lot of calories, carbs and sugars. Maybe put a 1/4 of banana with some milk and the protein and 2 strawberries, and if you want some ice. Use the fuit and yogurt in separate smoothies but maybe not all at once. Mix the yogurt with fruit chunks and eat as a snack two hours later. For example I put a scoop of protein powder with 6oz soy milk and 2 large frozen strawberries in my morning shake. It's super delicious. If you don't have frozen fruit add ice to the smoothie.
