American Idol Spoiler Alert...just sharing my hometown pride...

Proud to be from Garner NC.  So proud of our hometown country crooner Scotty McCreery for winning Season 10 of American Idol.  He's a very deserving young man & we love him.  That's another Idol title for NC...Fantasia Barino from High Point winner of Season 3 and Scotty.  Proud of all of our NC talent who appeared on Idol in season's past: Clay Aiken from Raleigh who can sing his pants off, Chris Daughtry of the group "Daughtry" from Mebane/Greensboro area...another amazing voice, country sweetheart Kellie Pickler from Albemarle, Chapel Hill's vocalist Anoop Desai, & another fellow country crooner Bucky Covington from Rockingham. 

NC is loaded with talent and we love all of them and are so proud of our locals who've experienced success on American Idol. 

GO SCOTTY!  Looking forward to hearing his single on country radio tomorrow!!! 

um...spoiler alert for those of us on the west coast.

Sorry Jessica.  I wasn't thinking about tv out west.  Funny, I was out in Seattle last week on vacation and my cell phone rang off the hook from friends/family calling me to tell me Scotty made top 2 well before American Idol was scheduled to come on tv out west.  I got my fair share of spoilers over the last 2 weeks myself.  Again, I'm sorry.  I edited my topic line to address the problem.  Sorry I spoiled it for you.  Guess I was just excited for our hometown boy Scotty and wanted to share.

As an Idol fan, I have to say that Scotty was my pick from the get go. NC can be truly proud - and Garner was certainly portrayed in a positive light during his homecoming visit!

Somehow I think that Scotty will keep his head on his shoulders as he goes forward, too.

I love me some Scotty. He is so adorable I could just eat him up!

He makes me want to like country music. In general, do not. But I might consider liking it to buy his album. I did it with Carrie Underwood and I'm still a fan.

I think Scotty is awesome.  I've been pulling from him from the very beginning.  I think he'll go far.
