I just stumbled onto a thread in another forum and every single person on it was hostile and 'yelling' at everyone else and saying the most vile, insulting things. Good lord it made me stressed. My heart is still pounding. Do we need this really??
So, for counterbalance let me just say that I am really thankful for the people here. I have learned a lot from you. Thank you. I will never be rude to anyone here, even if I don't agree with your posts.

I hear you....there are some really negative and hurtful things that are said on some of the forums, it is pretty shocking to me. I would never be nasty or even sarcastic..I personally come on here for support and to see if other people are going through what I am...and if there is something I can help someone with then great!
Oh it happens fairly frequently. I don't get into the hostile but I have found myself becoming involved in situations I am passionate about that when I first came to OH I'd run from.
There is rudeness on most every forum, I take from post what I can, offer what I may and let the rest go. I will say I do enjoy reading some of it sometimes (when bored) and laugh at how ridiculous it becomes (like high school, hair pulling, cursing, crying fights).
